I like to cook it overnight but my mom doesn't. We almost had to cancel passover one year becuase I wanted to put my brisket in her oven overnight. What wins, a need for moistness or a fear of the house blowing up?
My mom didn't raise me to be a very good Jew, but she did make a helluva fine brisket. I don't know if she cooked it overnight or not, but that sounds like something she'd do. Brisket aside, this show sounds great and I'm gonna plan on checking it out.

I have never seen a brisket before. It does not look very good. Especially if it is to cook an entire night... Jesus, why would anyone eat that?
